    RULES:

    All bay fish must be caught in local coastal bays.ocean city inlet is considered to be the bay. All ocean fish must be caught in the surf or on a boat going from and returning to ocean city.

    Fish are to be measured from the tip of the nose to the tip of the tail except for  marlin, sharks, tuna and dolphin which are to be measured from the tip of the nose to the fork in the tail. The ruler should be kept flat  under the fish and not over the curvature of the body. Actual fish measurements will be used to determine winners.

    Size must be verified by another club member or a picture showing the measurements on a measuring tape. We prefer that you have it verified by another member  only legal fish caught within season may be entered.

    The winner  will be the angler who catches   the “biggest” fish of the most species. The chapter will contribute $ 300 total prize money and members may enter a calcutta for $5 a head. There are two calcuttas, one for the bays and one for the ocean. To enter both the cost is $10.00

    A new member to the club must be a member for 31 days before becoming elgible.

    The contest is now open.  All entries must be called in within 30 days of the catch. All entries must be in no later than November 31, 2009.
